During this event, we utilized the Multilevel Perspectives (MLP) framework to explore the progress made in transitioning towards health-ing, fostering a collective understanding of where changes occurred and how various system levels interacted.
We hosted several guest speakers who provided their insights.
Guest Speakers
Giulia Sonetti, PhD: A Postdoctoral Researcher at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, specializing in sustainability and health. Giulia’s research intersected mental health, sustainability education, ecologies of care, and human–nature relationships.
Yeuk Fan Ng: A Senior Consultant Public Health Physician and leader in health system transformation and education, committed to enhancing the performance of health and care systems for individuals, populations, and society. Yeuk Fan served as Director and Head of Corporate Development at Khoo Teck Puat and Yishun Community Hospitals in Singapore, overseeing system planning, performance, governance, and enterprise risk management to drive system-wide performance and transformation.
Joanna Lane: Founder of Stichting Health ClusterNet and a senior academic in Norway. Joanna led and advised multiple EU-funded projects, including Invest4Health, which focused on smart capacitating investment for less invasive interventions in breast cancer and cardiometabolic disease. She chaired FH Europe, a network of patient organizations for familial hyperlipidemias, and advised Norway Health Tech. Her work bridged policy, patients, innovation, and European system reform.
Purpose of the Event
The event aimed to collectively evaluate our progress in transitioning to a systemic approach to health-ing and to identify the main obstacles and facilitators influencing this shift. It sought to unite diverse perspectives to enhance collective intelligence around the transition.
What Happened
The event began with expert speakers sharing their insights on the transition towards health-ing from their unique perspectives. This was followed by a workshop using the MLP framework to gather collective intelligence, evaluate the current transition state, and identify obstacles and facilitators that could support this transition.

This event was for anyone interested in advancing systems-based approaches to health and contributing to a shared understanding of this transition.
